Successful aquaculture involves handling and harvesting fish in a way that does not compromise the health and quality of the fish, as well as monitoring the health and growth across the production cycle. Students learn about the principles of fish handling and harvesting for different life stages and species in aquaculture. The course also teaches students the methods of monitoring growth of fish over the productions cycle to ensure fish grow in an optimal way.
